Football management sim Football Manager 2022 has reached the milestone of one million copies sold.
As Director Miles Jacobsen announces, Football Manager 2022, the football management simulation developed by Sports Interactive, recently reached the milestone of one million units sold.
Jacobsen thanked for this via Twitter all fans and emphasized the success, which is even more extraordinary, especially due to the currently uncertain times:
“In the last 12 hours we’ve sold our millionth copy of #FM22 on PC/Mac.”
“In these difficult times, especially in times of the cost of living crisis, this cannot be taken for granted. So thank you to everyone who bought the game or played through Game Pass or other platforms.”
The title, which was released in November last year, needed almost eight months to reach the one million copies sold mark.
Football Manager 2021, the direct predecessor of the current offshoot, still holds the series record. It only took two months to sell a million copies.
Football Manager 2022 is currently available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android and is included with Xbox Game Pass.
