Korean automaker Hyundai has unveiled the final design of its IONIQ 6 series electric car, which is designed as a sedan with the most streamlined body in the Electrified Streamliner coupe style. Due to the characteristic rounded shape of the silhouette and other design tricks, the creators of the novelty managed to achieve a drag coefficient of 0.21.
Despite the sloping roof line, the interior was made quite voluminous and comfortable for all users, including rear row passengers. 700 LEDs of the Parametric Pixels system deserve special mention, placed in almost all elements of the body and interior: headlights, lights, logo, center console, etc. The Dual Color Ambient Lighting system allows you to choose from 64 color shades to softly illuminate the interior space.
The driver has access to a pair of 12-inch touch screens – the main dashboard and infotainment system. The interior uses eco-friendly materials, including eco-leather, recycled plastic bottles and nets, and vegetable oil-based eco-paint.
The automaker promises to reveal the full specifications of the Hyundai IONIQ 6 in July this year. However, it is already known that the electric car will be built on the proprietary Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). Thus, the power and range of the novelty will be comparable to the model of the same IONIQ 5 line – two batteries (58/73 kWh), two-wheel drive (rear / full), high-speed charging (350 kW), power up to 225 kW and a range of up to 480 km.
