The lineup of Intel NUC mini-computers will soon be replenished with a line of NUC 12 Enthusiast (Serpent Canyon) devices based on 12th generation Core mobile processors. A distinctive feature of the new products will be the use of graphics accelerators Arc Alchemist.
Intel will offer the NUC 12 Enthusiast in three configurations. The older version will receive a 14-core / 20-thread Core i7-12700H processor and Arc A770M 16GB discrete graphics, the middle one is equipped with the same CPU and Arc A730M 12GB video adapter, and the younger model is content with a 12-core / 16-thread “stone” Core i5- 12500H and Arc A550M 8GB 3D accelerator.
All three NUC 12 Enthusiast options include two SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 memory slots (maximum 64 GB), a 2.5 Gigabit network interface, three M.2 slots for solid state drives, Thunderbolt 4 ports and a wireless module WiFi 6E. Mini-PCs are made in a case with dimensions of 230 x 180 x 60 mm and are powered by an external adapter with a nominal value of 230 or 330 W.
The recommended price and release dates for the Intel NUC 12 Enthusiast (Serpent Canyon) mini-computers have not yet been announced.
