In 2018, Cameron Diaz announced her retirement, and the last film with her participation was released back in 2014. However, something made her change her mind, and now the actress has signed on to star in Netflix’s action comedy Back In Action.
Her participation in the film was confirmed by Jamie Foxx, who got another major role. He published tweeted an audio recording of a conversation with Diaz, in which the actress says that she is very excited and complains that she does not know how to return properly.
The plot of the action comedy is being kept under wraps. The film will be directed by Seth Gordon (The Office, The Good Doctor). He will also write the script with Brendan O’Brien (“Neighbours. On the Warpath”).
The film’s release date has not yet been announced.
