Today we learned that Motorola’s next two flagships are code-named Canyon and Bronco and can adopt the trade name of Edge 40 Pro and Edge 40, respectively, in the global market.
The information comes through the leaker Evan Blass, who also advances that the Canyon model will have Qualcomm’s next top chip, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. and a high refresh rate of 165 Hz.
The Canyon model can also count on a triple rear camera configuration with a primary sensor of 50 megapixels, an ultrawide sensor also with 50 megapixels and a telephoto sensor with 12 megapixels of resolution.
In turn, the Bronco model will have less advanced specifications, such as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. This model will also feature a Full HD+ resolution screen, perforated by a 16-megapixel front camera. On the rear panel, there will be a triple module with a primary sensor of 50 megapixels, an ultrawide sensor with 13 megapixels and a depth sensor with two megapixels of resolution.
Three more Motorola smartphones on the brand’s list of launches
According to the website 91Mobiles, at least three more Motorola smartphones will be released in the near future. For now, the models are only known by their code names – Tundra, Vaui and Victoria – but some of their specifications have already been revealed.
Let’s start with Victoria. This model will integrate the MediaTek MT6879 processor paired with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. On the optical side, it will have a triple camera configuration with a 108-megapixel main sensor, complemented by an eight-megapixel ultrawide and a two-megapixel macro sensor.
The Vaui model will have more basic specifications, starting with the Helio G37 chip, a screen with HD+ resolution perforated by a five megapixel front camera. This version, which should be positioned in the entry-level gam segment, will also have a triple camera of 16 megapixels, with two more sensors of two megapixels each.
For its part, the Tundra model looks quite promising with the integration of the Snapdragon 888+ chip paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
For the rest, it will be powered by a 4,400 mAh battery and will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide and, finally, a depth sensor with two megapixel resolution. .
