Resource Electric I could not ignore the news about overclocking, although it was about an experiment on overclocking a modified Tesla Model S Plaid electric car. In production cars of this series, the maximum speed is still limited by software – at the moment, at the level of 282 km / h, although the manufacturer promised to raise the limit to 322 km / h over time. Canadian company Ingenext, which specializes in bypassing Tesla software blockages, after several attempts, found a 3 km straight section of the track, which allowed it to update the speed record for Tesla electric vehicles.

To do this, it was necessary to bypass the software limitation in a special way. The company plans to continue to offer this method of removing the speed limit for a surcharge to all owners of electric vehicles of this model.
