iFixit has shared a teardown video on its YouTube channel of the new 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M2 chip, which will go on sale on June 24th.

The internal structure and almost all components of the updated MacBook Pro are absolutely no different from the previous model. The only difference between the novelty and the late 2020 laptop is the Apple Silicon M2 chip, instead of the M1. In addition, the basic version of the computer is equipped with a single 256 GB NAND memory chip, which is why the read and write speed of this device is half that of its predecessor.

iFixit also repeated an experiment by blogger Luc Miani on transferring a board with an M2 chip into a laptop case with an M1. As with Miani, iFixit was unable to start the laptop after replacing the components.
