More than 1.5 thousand Russians from different regions took part in the study. 86% of respondents admitted that they are inspired by literary characters, and 82% are ready to be inspired even by negative characters.
25% of respondents consider literary characters to be role models because of certain qualities that readers themselves would like to have.
