Bandai Namco and ILCA announced the founding of a new company, Bandai Namco Aces, to develop high-quality video games, network content, PC content and more. 51% of the investment at creation came from Bandai Namco and 49% from ILCA.
Bandai Namco Aces’ first game will be Ace Combat powered by Unreal Engine 5, which was teased last year. The company, however, will not only make games in this series, but also other projects. When to wait for the new Ace Combat is unknown.
Takuya Iwasaki (CEO ILCA) became the head of the new company, and Kazutoki Kono (director of the Ace Combat brand) became the executive vice president. Nothing is known about the next projects of the company. At the moment the company gaining new employees for for future games.
