Guardians of the Galaxy narrative director leaves for BioWare

Mary DeMarle, a company veteran with nearly 15 years of experience, has quit Eidos Montreal. Mary served as the studio’s executive narrative director, her most recent project being Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

On LinkedIn, Mary writes that she will now work as a senior narrative director at BioWare. DeMarl did not say which project she would be working on.

BioWare is DeMarl’s fifth game studio. Prior to Eidos Montreal, Mary worked at Ubisoft, working her way up from contract writer to game designer, and before that she worked on projects at Relic and Presto Studios.

It can be assumed that in BioWare DeMarl will work on the next part of Mass Effect, which is still at an early stage of development.
