Let’s see this 25 minute video showing the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time developed by RwanLink using theUnreal Engine 5. The author had announced his work last January with a first video, but has now published another to show the progress made in recent months.
RwanLink has decided to focus on Zora’s Domain. It took 1200 hours of the last four and a half months to make the film. For Link used a custom 3D model that looks a bit odd in the cutscenes. However the final result makes a certain impression.
It should be emphasized that this project has nothing to do with that of CryZENx.
The RwanLink video begins with computer graphics sequences, but also shows some played in the final part (around 19:00). Note that the author himself specified that he did not have time to optimize this part. Hence the poor fluidity even on an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080Ti.
Given the diligence with which Nintendo’s lawyers block similar projects, we imagine that it will hardly come to completion. Be that as it may, it’s always nice to see the commitment of fans to the franchises they love.
