A fan of Nintendo games bought shares of the company for 5.6 million yen (more than 40 thousand dollars).

What to play in the summer? We collected 8 best games (almost all with discounts)

He did this in order to ask at a meeting of shareholders of top managers why the company no longer releases the continuation of his favorite series of games – the F-Zero race. The last game in the franchise came out in 2004.

“It’s really hard to make new games and remakes (including sequels) for every Nintendo game that people ask for. But we are very grateful and appreciate the expectations our fans have for our games,” commented Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa.

“We are always thinking about how to develop new games and remakes that many players can enjoy,” commented Shinya Takahashi, CEO of the company.
