Apart from the formal announcement, there has not been much to see from “One Piece Odyssey”. Bandai Namco has now changed that with a new developer diary.
Here we are offered detailed impressions from “One Piece Odyssey”. For example, we are shown gameplay and introduced to the individual characters. Expert and explanatory commentary from producer Katsuaki Tsuzuki, composer Motoi Sakuraba and Ken Takano from Weekly Shounen Jump is also included.
“One Piece Odyssey” is a new role-playing game that will transport players into the world of ONE PIECE. During their journey, the Straw Hats, led by Monkey D. Luffy, are sucked in by a huge storm at sea. They end up separated from each other and completely destroyed with the Thousand Sunny on a mysterious island. The crew embarks on a new adventurous journey full of wonders in a frenzied nature, powerful enemies and strange encounters with the islanders.
One Piece Odyssey will be released later this year for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.
