According to a new Whip Media study, Netflix ranks last in perceived value compared to eight other streaming platforms. At the same time, it is considered by many to be the most important and indispensable service.
Between classified platforms, HBO Max ranks first when it comes to customer satisfaction, despite being one of the most expensive services on the market. Warner Discovery’s proprietary platform is followed by Disney +, Hulu, Paramount +, Prime Video, Discovery +, Peacock and Apple TV +. Only finally do we find Netflix.
Still, the Netflix service is al first place in the poll “If you can only keep one, which one?”. Netflix garnered over 41% of the polls’ votes, while Hulu finished second with 21%. HBO Max completed the Top 3, with 13% of respondents saying they choose that platform among others available.

Here is the data of the other services: Disney + (nine percent), Prime Video (six percent), and Paramount + (two percent) were the only other platforms to get more than 1% of the vote. Apple TV +, Discovery +, and Peacock all scored exactly one percentage point. Three percent of respondents said they would give up streaming entirely, while the remaining three percent chose a platform other than the nine listed.
Netflix is therefore considered indispensable by many, but at the same time they believe that the platform does not manage its content well.
