The developers of the WhatsApp messenger for iOS are preparing another very useful feature – the ability to hide the “Online” status from all users.
The WABetaInfo portal has provided screenshots of the settings menu of the new beta version of WhatsApp for iOS. While messenger users can display information about the latest activity only for contacts, for some users, or they can completely hide it from everyone. A future version of the WhatsApp app will have an option to set the visibility of the Online status.
It is not yet clear when WhatsApp will provide access to this innovation to all users, but most likely the feature will become available with the next major update of the messenger.
