Netflix has published an intro to the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, which takes place in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
The composition was This fffire by the British indie rock band Franz Ferdinand.
The studio responsible for the animated series is Trigger, known for Kill la Kill, Darling in the Franxx, Little Witch Academia, one of the episodes of Star Wars: Visions and other anime.
It was directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare), soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka, and character design by Yo Yoshinari (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Little Witch Academia).
Premiere Cyberpunk: Edgerunners expected in September 2022. The first season will have ten episodes.
