Apple has suspended the process of returning employees from remote to offices for a three-day work week due to an increase in cases of COVID-19 infection.
In April, Apple began requiring employees to return to work at least once a week. Already in May, the company increased the number of mandatory days of work in the office to two, but in June, Apple had to abandon the further implementation of the hybrid work scheme due to a new outbreak of COVID-19 in the United States.
It won’t be long before the iPhone maker returns staff to full-time offices as many employees test positive for the virus, according to Bloomberg.
