Italian media reportedthat the shooting of the second part of “Dune” from Legendary Entertainment will begin today in Altivola, Italy.
They will only last two days. Full production with the return of the main cast is scheduled for July 21 in Budapest, where the 2021 film was also filmed.
As for filming in Altivol, they will take place in the Brion tomb, designed in the 1970s by the Italian architect Carlo Scarpa. The place, even without any scenery, fits perfectly into Denis Villeneuve’s Dune.
The premiere will take place in November 2023.
