charity event organizers Games Done Quickdedicated to the speedrun of video games, reported about the results of the summer marathon: they collected donations in the amount of over 3 million dollars. This is slightly less than the record set at the beginning of this year, when Awesome Games Done Quick raised over $3.4 million. This is the best result in the entire 12-year history of AGDQ.
The money collected at the past Games Done Quick will be sent to the organization “Doctors Without Borders”, which provides medical care to people affected by military conflicts, famine, epidemics and natural disasters around the world.
