If we were to mention a certainty that emerged clearly from the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Showcase, for sure it is as much as the new episode of the series Ubisoft is much larger and more ambitious than its predecessor came out on Nintendo Switch in 2017
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope already appears much more extensive and in-depth in terms of content and game mechanics than Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and promises to improve the first game in practically every aspect, both playful and technical. Faced with such work, it is natural to wonder how much the title will occupy in terms of memory on Nintendo Switch. Well, Sparks of Hope will certainly be heavier than Kingdom Battle, but less than you might imagine.
According to what is reported on the Nintendo eShopthe total weight of the Ubisoft work would be equal to 7.1GB. The data is reported under the item dedicated to Gold Edition of the new Mario + Rabbids, but it is likely to still refer to the base game without calculating future expansions. These are dimensions in line with many games available on the Switch, but in any case they are more than doubled in size compared to the predecessor: Kingdom Battle base in fact reached 2.9GB in weight, and then reached 4.4GB by calculating the expansion focused on Donkey Kong.
This is a further sign of how much the second chapter has been perfected and expanded, thus promising to prove to be one of the most interesting games of 2022 by Nintendo Switch. And as reported in our special on Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope complete with an interview with the authors, there are all the credentials to expect a pleasant surprise this time too.
