Summer is traditionally considered the least active time in terms of the gaming industry – there are practically no major releases. In view of this, in the Steam chart, published weekly on the basis of the past seven days, the composition of the most commercially successful products regularly changes significantly. The only thing that has remained unchanged for several weeks now is the portable PC Steam Deck, which firmly holds the first place.
But the addition Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak burst into the second place quite unexpectedly, which was completely absent in the previous chart. Behind him is the third line – this is explained by the fact that pre-orders and the release version of the DLC are counted separately.
There are a number of other debutants, among which the racing simulator F1 22 stands out first of all, which took two positions in the top of the best-selling games at once.
In general, the top ten of the Steam chart for the past week looks like this (in parentheses is the place taken in the top 10 a week earlier):
1) Steam Deck (1);
2) Addition Sunbreak for Monster Hunter Rise (-);
3) Pre-order Sunbreak add-on for Monster Hunter Rise (7);
4) Raft (4);
5) DNF Duel (-);
6) One of the editions F1 22 (-);
7) Monster Hunter Rise (5);
8) One of the editions of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands (3);
9) Rust (9);
10) Another edition of F1 22 (-).
