Recently creative director Marvel’s Midnight Suns Jake Solomon spoke to PC Gamer. Developer told about the connection with the film “Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness.”
The point is that the plot Marvel’s Midnight Suns, like the plot of the sequel to “Doctor Strange” revolves around the mysterious book of Darkhold. According to Solomon, the idea of using the book in the game came to him a long time ago, moreover, he considered it fresh and cool. It came as a surprise to Solomon when the Darkhold appeared in Sam Raimi’s film:
It came as a real surprise to me that Darkhold appeared in Doctor Strange. There was never any connection between the game and the film, it was just that the Darkhold was in the spotlight.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns will be released on October 7th on PC and consoles of both generations.
