Developers from the studio Infinity Ward are planning to test their new shooter closer to release. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will have an almost two-week open beta test on all platforms in mid-September.
According to an insider with the nickname RalphsValve, it was he who first revealed the existence of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, the developers slightly changed their original plans. According to the original idea, the beta test was supposed to take place back in August, as one of the leaks suggested, but the authors of the shooter decided to shift the dates. Now next month, the main details of the shooter will be revealed, as well as showings of multiplayer modes. The beta test has been moved to September.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta dates:
Early access for pre-orders: September 15-16 (PlayStation Exclusive)
Open Beta: September 17–19.
Early access for pre-orders: September 22–23 (cross-play)
Open Beta: 24-26 September (cross-play)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will release on October 28 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
