We had had some hints in the past months and finally it’s official: Dragami Games has announced Lollipop Chainsaw Remake (working title) coming in 2023 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Suda51 game.
Lollipop Chainsaw was launched in 2012 on Xbox 360 and PS3 and was hailed as one of the most original works of Suda51, famous for the No More Heroes series. Juliet, a student in California, is grappling with hordes of zombies and crazy enemies to be eliminated with the trusty chainsaw!
Dragami Games was founded on July 1st by a group of former employees of Kadokawa Games, at the moment the staff number about 30 people, the CEO of Dragami Games makes it known that Lollipop Chainsaw Remake will keep the philosophy of the original However, going to improve some aspects, for example the soundtrack will be changed due to the difficulty in finding the licenses of the individual songs, moreover the graphics will be “more realistic“while maintaining the Bubble Gum aesthetic that contributed to the success of the production.
