Forza Horizon 5 and Gran Turismo 7, although they belong to racing games, still act in different planes of this genre. However, this does not prevent players from comparing both projects from Sony and Xbox in an attempt to determine the best game. A recent comparison shows the difference in detail between the two games using spinning discs as an example.
Apparently, the games take a completely different approach to visualizing the spin of the wheel. In Forza Horizon 5, the disc is replaced with a 2D model while driving, which is reflected in its quality. Gran Turismo 7 is fully 3D at any wheel speed and does not lose detail.
In this comparison, Gran Turismo 7 definitely wins, but do not forget about the different scale of games. Arcade-style Forza Horizon 5 lets you explore a vast open world, while Sony’s racing sim keeps you from going further than the prepared track.
