The Crew 2 Gets a 60fps Update Tomorrow on PS5 and Xbox Series X and Season 6 Kicks Off

Tomorrow, The Crew 2 will receive a long-awaited update that will bring various next-gen technical improvements to PS5 and Xbox Series X, including 60fps and other additions, as well as the start of Season 6 with the first chapter.

As previously reported, this is a free update that is expected to arrive tomorrow, Wednesday, July 6, 2022, which will add some very interesting technical elements, namely:

60 frames per second “Fuzz” function that improves lighting simulation on materials such as grass, vegetation, etc. Screen space shadows Changes and climate and time cycling Sky color gradient changes Changes in cloud and fog rendering

60 fps and shadows on the screen – the prerogative of the next generation platforms, i.e. PS5 and Xbox Series X | S in addition to PC, while other innovations will appear on other platforms.

Also coming with the update is Season 6: Episode 1, which will announce events for the online player community and add additional interim content. The release date is scheduled for 12:00 UTC tomorrow, July 6, 2022.
