Firstly, it should be noted that this product was presented last Monday during the official presentation event of the Xiaomi 12S range. It was also there that we got to know, for example, the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro smartband and the Book Pro 2022 laptops by the hand of Lei Jun, the current CEO.
This was one of the more discreet products to be announced at the conference where the Chinese manufacturer shared the details of its new partnership with Leica. Nevertheless, this is one of the products that we would like to see in Europe considering its price, functionality and technical characteristics.
See, for example, that the manufacturer points to a maximum coverage of 1,500 m² for this home mesh network solution. In other words, it is an extremely powerful router, designed for apartment blocks (buildings with several autonomous fractions), of up to 5 floors or floors, each with an average area of 150 m².

The values announced by Xiaomi are nothing short of impressive. In fact, this solution can distribute WiFi signal for Internet access to entire buildings (up to 5 floors). This, note, with up to 10 units (maximum) of routers connected.

In short, each unit can cover up to 150 m² and, in a chain, they can cover a maximum area of 1,500 m² with 10 interconnected units.
In addition, its features include a total of three WiFi bands. Namely, we have the 2.4 GHz channel, the 5 GHz channel and the mesh solution. That is, three options for connection, configuration and Internet signal distribution.
Xiaomi’s new mesh WiFi solution can connect up to 600 devices to the Internet
