In January of this year, it became known that the work is on the next, already the sixth part of the horror franchise “Final Destination”. Among the producers of the film are the director of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” Jon Watts, as well as Craig Perry, who worked on all previous tapes.
Since then, no information about the picture has been received. However, the other day, Jeffrey Reddick, who wrote the scripts for all parts of the franchise, gave an interview to the Dread Central portal and shared intriguing details. According to him, the new film will somehow “break” the classic formula of the series:
I can tell you that it’s not just another kind of “we bring a group of people together, they cheat death, and then death catches up with each of them.” We tried to add a certain zest to each film so that all of them are a little different from each other. The new film will be a true representative of the franchise, but it doesn’t follow that formula. That’s all I can say.
“Final Destination 6” is not worth waiting for in the near future – at the moment, the tape has neither a director nor a cast.
