Despite Elden Ring has only been published for a few months, Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed in a recent interview that FromSoftware has almost finished work on his next game. No name has been made but many suspect that it is Armored Core, also given the leak that emerged in January.
The software house known for the Souls series has not communicated anything official to date, yet a reddit user has noticed a rather curious detail that seems to lead to a Armored Core announcement now around the corner. Searching on Google for the name of FromSoftware, a link appears that refers to the portal of the Japanese studio and which reads “armored core“(find a demonstration below). Although this cannot give us definitive confirmation, the strong impression is that a new chapter in the mecha series is about to be revealed by Miyazaki and associates.
At the moment we can only take note of this weirdness of the company’s website and wait confidently for an upcoming announcement, which could arrive during the Tokyo Game Show, the GamesCom or The Game Awards in December. Meanwhile, NPD Groud analysts’ forecasts suggest that Elden Ring will have sold more than COD Modern Warfare 2 by late 2022.
