Sony and Santa Monica Studio have finally revealed to the world the release date of God of War Ragnarok, accompanying the highly anticipated announcement with the publication of a movie that shows in detail the two limited editions of the game.
In the movie in question, we can see it in action Rafael Grassettithe Studio Art Director, e Ryan Hurst, actor who lent voice and features for the making of Thor. The developer and the cast member have in fact opened both the Collector’s Edition and the Jötnar Edition, which are the more expensive versions of God of War Ragnarok.
Inside the Collector’s Edition from GOW Ragnarok you will find a chest with the following items:
- Voucher with the code to download the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 version of the game
- Steelbook without the disc
- Vanir cufflinks made in the same style as the Atreus toys featured in the collector’s edition of the previous God of War
- Dwarf dice set with wood effect in a bag with the symbol of Yggdrasil
- Replica of Mjölnir, Thor’s hammer, about 40 centimeters
- Darkdale armor for Atreus (cosmetic only) and Kratos
- Darkdale Grip for Blades of Chaos and Leviathan
- God of War Ragnarok Digital Soundtrack
- Digital Mini Artbook by Dark Horse Digital
- PlayStation Network Avatar Set

In addition to the Collector’s Edition content, the Jötnar Edition also contains:
- A vinyl with the music composed by Bear McCreary
- A set of animal brooches representing Faye, Kratos and Atreus: the hawk, the bear and the wolf
- A replica of the legendary Draupnir ring
- Brok dice set with metallic finish and a bag to contain them with the logo of the two blacksmiths
