Today the upcoming strategy title “Marvel’s Midnight Suns” shows itself in a new trailer. This time, the focus is on the iconic superhero Captain America.
With “Marvel’s Midnight Suns”, the “XCOM” makers from Firaxis are currently developing a new strategy title in the Marvel universe, which will be released for both the consoles and the PC.
You take control of the self-created hero Hunter, with whom you take up the fight against the cunning demon mother Lilith. Throughout your adventure, a variety of well-known superheroes from the world of Marvel will join you in your fight for the survival of humanity.

Microtransactions are cosmetic only
As announced a few months ago, Marvel’s Midnight Suns will come with microtransaction support at launch. However, there is no need to worry about loot boxes or other paid content that affects gameplay. Instead, the developers of Firaxis made it absolutely clear that the microtransactions only refer to optional skins that you can use to spice up your heroes visually.
“Now that the demon Lilith and her fearsome horde have joined forces with the dark armies of Hydra, it’s time to unleash the dark side of Marvel,” reads the strategy title’s official description. “You are Hunter, a legendary demon hunter with a mysterious past. You must lead a highly unusual group of skilled superheroes and dangerous supernatural warriors.”
