We already wrote that modifications that replace NVIDIA DLSS with AMD FSR 2.0 are available for Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Dying Light 2, but now it turned out that modification from the last works without any modifications in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Metro Exodus, Death Stranding and probably a bunch of other DirectX 12 games with DLSS inside. At the moment, only these projects have been confirmed to work.
Installing the modification is as simple as possible and will only require the user to copy the nvngx.dll file to the game folder so that it lies next to nvngx_dlss.dll. If you have not used this modification yet, you will also need to run EnableSignatureOverride.reg.
It is important to clarify that this is a custom modification, and not a solution from the game developers themselves, and therefore the implementation is clearly not ideal. However, there is still a performance boost with a not very noticeable change in the final image.
