Xiaomi has already proven in the past to be able to sell millions of smartphones in the mid-range segment. And now there’s one more piece of equipment to join the ‘millionaires’ lot, belonging to its POCO sub-brand.
The POCO C31 is a smartphone aimed at the entry-level range and was launched on the market in October last year. More than half a year later, the brand said that the terminal had sold 1 million units.

This smartphone shows that you don’t need eye-popping specs to be a bestseller. Just be a device to bet on things and with an appealing price to match.
When we think of POCO, this is not one of the first smartphones that comes to mind. The terminal was launched in India with a price of around €102 in direct conversion, and the specifications are at least modest.
It has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate. It comes equipped with the MediaTek Helio G35 processor, and has a 5000 mAh battery that charges via microUSB. The main camera is 13 MP.
“POCO C31 was born fundamentally from the need for our consumers to have a smartphone with a POCO experience at an even more competitive price. That’s why we’ve focused on redefining the smartphone experience, delivering a device with smooth performance,” POCO said in a statement.
“With a powerful processor, a triple camera setup complemented by a massive battery, the POCO C31 is a value-for-money offering rarely seen in its class. The smartphone receives a phenomenal response even 9 months after its launch”, concludes the brand.
