Ubisoft announces The Division Resurgence, a free-to-play shooter for iOS and Android

Ubisoft, a year after the announcement that it is developing a mobile version of The Division, has officially announced a franchise game with the subtitle Resurgence. This is a shareware shooter for iOS and Android.

The game takes place in New York after the outbreak of the virus.

Despite the same setting, the plot Resurgence different from the first part of The Division. The title will offer a unique look at the key story events that happened in both the original and the sequel.

AT The Division Resurgence there will be a story campaign, as well as a bunch of third-party tasks in the open world. You can play alone and with friends. The gameplay is a familiar part of the series with shooting, cover and looting. Also expected are various factions of enemies and the ability to choose and customize classes (specializations).
