EK Water Blocks has announced the EK-Quantum Momentum² Strix Z690-I Gaming D-RGB – Plexi all-in-one water block for the ASUS ROG Strix Z690-I Gaming motherboard for 12th Gen Intel Core (LGA 1700) processors.

The product is made on the architecture of EK Velocity2, which provides high cooling efficiency. Heat is removed not only from the Intel Alder Lake chip, but also from the VRM zone. The water block is suitable for liquid cooling systems with low power or low speed pumps.
The base is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper plate and the top is made of clear acrylic. The novelty is compatible with the EK-Matrix7 standard: it assumes that the height increase of products or the distance between ports is 7 mm.
The water block has an addressable D-RGB backlight based on 14 LEDs. Effects can be adjusted and synchronized using ASUS Aura Sync technology.
The EK-Quantum Momentum² Strix Z690-I Gaming D-RGB – Plexi will ship in late July. Estimated price of the product is 240 euros.
