After yesterday’s announcement of the Michael Jordan Edition for NBA 2K23, another edition was unveiled today featuring two other legends from the WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association). Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird will be on the cover of NBA 2K23 WNBA Edition when the game launches on September 9th. In terms of achievements, they have won seven unified championships, 23 All-Star Games and 10 gold medals. NBA 2K20 was the first game in the series to include the WNBA league.
Diana Taurasi began her WNBA career with the Phoenix Mercury in 2004. Sue Bird started with the Seattle Storm in 2002 and holds the record for most regular WNBA games played, surpassing 500 games in 2018.
NBA 2K23 pre-orders begin tomorrow, July 7th. There are still no cover athletes for the standard and deluxe editions of NBA 2K23, which have yet to be revealed.
Platforms for NBA 2K23 are currently unknown, but it’s worth noting that NBA 2K22 has launched on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
