An image of the Skate 4 playtest map has surfaced online, and it’s called Fun City.
The internet never disappoints, and the modern-day Robin Hoods have struck again to share information with players that wasn’t yet made public.
This time, the beneficiaries of the leak are all those players who are eagerly awaiting information about SKATE 4. A picture of the map has appeared on the Internet, on which all testers can let off steam according to a rumor from July 5th to July 8th.
The area is apparently called “Fun City” and, judging by the symbols, is used by many skaters at the same time. Previous trailers already suggested the concept of a shared open world, and this suspicion is now being reinforced.
A few loading bars can still be seen at the top of the screen, which suggest challenges. The ability to create your own ramps, pipes and gaps has been around in previous installments of the series and doesn’t seem to deviate from that.
On the left edge of the screen you can see something that resembles a to-do list and is used in other games, for example for daily tasks.
The last clues that can be guessed from the map are scattered bus stop symbols and a house symbol. Experience has shown that this could be a control center and fast travel points.
All of this is speculation based on known footage. Let us know in the comments whether you suspect something similar or have a completely different opinion. As usual, we have to wait for official statements for clear statements about the game structure and its mechanics.
