Experiment 101 and THQ Nordic have released a gameplay video for the PS5 version of Biomutant.
In a few days “Biomutant” will be released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. More precisely written on Tuesday September 6th.
Before that, you can watch a gameplay recording of the revised console version. Here you can see the “Quality Unleashed” mode on PS5. Thus, the events are played back in 4K and around 40 to 60 frames.
If you prefer a classic graphics mode, you can choose between “Quality” and “Performance”. The former offers 4K resolution and 30 FPS, the latter 1440p and 60 FPS.
The integration of the DualSense controller, which is fully supported, ensures more immersion. In addition, thanks to the activity cards, you can find out about your progress and continue playing at a certain point within seconds.
Free upgrade possible
If you already own the PS4 version, you can also make a free next-gen upgrade in this case. You will take your save and unlocked trophies with you. If you don’t have the game, you need one Amount of 59.99 euros to count. Incidentally, the open world RPG can be tested for two hours with PS Plus Premium.
In terms of revenue, “Biomutant” was definitely a success, as the message linked below shows.
In terms of quality, however, the project was not convincing. So it was only enough for 64 out of 100 possible MetaScore points. A major point of criticism was the poor technical condition, which should be better with the upcoming upgrade. But the combat system, the open world feeling and the narrator were also criticized by many.
