The holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) admitted that he is ready to help Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) at any time.
“It is wrong to think that Joshua stole my moment. He said what he wanted to say. Thank God I won. Anthony is not to be blamed for what he did. He is an athlete of the highest level and a good person. Joshua made a mistake.
I’m sure he did it without malice. Joshua was disappointed because of the defeat, he was sad. I understand that Anthony wanted to beat me, but he can’t give up. He must go ahead.
If he needs my help, I will come to his camp and help. He is not 40 years old. He’s only 33, so he has to keep working. Anthony, don’t stop,” Usyk said.
Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua on August 20 by split decision, retaining his belts.
