Studio Ocean Drive has officially announced a new co-op top-down shooter called Blackout Protocol. The game was first mentioned back in 2020, but there were no details back then.
Blackout Protocol is a twin-stick shooter with roguelike elements that supports 3-player co-op. You have to play as employees of the S2P corporation, who used to try to promote humanity by researching supernatural beings. After breaking the internal insulation, power went out in the underground research base, where the most dangerous test subjects were kept. Together with colleagues, you need to arm yourself and go to this place to shed light on what happened.
Blackout Protocol will be released in 2023 on PC. Initially, the project will appear in the early access stage.
