Independent American publisher and developer Aether Studios announced about the forced postponement to a later date of his pixel turn-based strategy Dungeons of Aether.
Recall that Dungeons of Aether was officially presented last April at the show Rivals Direct 3 and was expected to premiere on the digital distribution service Steam on October 25 this year.
As it became known, Dungeons of Aether is now scheduled for release on Steam only on February 28, 2023. The developers took longer to make the game “a fantastic addition to the Aether franchise”.
The Dungeons of Aether 1.5-minute trailer that accompanies the announcement shows new gameplay footage, as well as a conversation between characters announcing the postponement of the project.
Gamers will fight against enemies and collect treasures in the mines under the steampunk city of Julesvale. They promise four heroes, a dice-based combat system, a story-driven roguelite adventure, and roguelike challenge dungeons.
