Xiaomi has officially unveiled three new low-cost smartphones – Redmi 11 Prime 5G, Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi A1. New items received 6.5-inch displays and MediaTek chips.
Redmi 11 Prime 5G is the most powerful smartphone presented today. It has a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for a 5MP selfie camera. On the back panel there is a block with two cameras: the main one with 50 megapixels and a depth sensor with 2 megapixels.
The device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal memory, as well as a 5000 mAh battery with support for charging up to 18 watts. In addition, Redmi 11 Prime 5G received a fingerprint scanner on the side, a tray for two SIM cards and microSD cards, a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.
The Redmi 11 Prime 5G will go on sale in India from September 9 for $160 for the 4/64GB version and $185 for the 6/128GB model.

The smartphone received a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal memory, as well as a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. Other features include a fingerprint scanner on the side, a 3.5mm audio jack and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Redmi 11 Prime will go on sale soon for $160 for the 4/64GB model and $185 for the 6/128GB version.
Redmi A1 is one of the brand’s few smartphones running pure Android 12. The gadget boasts a leather-like textured back panel and a low price tag.
The budget novelty received a 6.52-inch LCD display with HD resolution and a teardrop-shaped cutout for a 5 MP selfie camera. There are two cameras on the back – an 8MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
Redmi A1 is equipped with MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD card slot, a 5000 mAh battery and a micro-USB port.
The brand’s most affordable smartphone, the Redmi A1, will go on sale from September 9 for $80.
