Apogee Entertainment Publishing announced about helping indie New York developer Matte Black Studio with the release of his pixel-based action-platformer Lucid.
With help from Apogee Entertainment, Lucid is now slated for release in 2024 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. The new teaser trailer (see below) is a replica January.
Events Lucid will unfold in the crystal world of Aedyn on the threshold of an apocalyptic catastrophe. Players take on the role of young Guardian Oenn to collect the pieces of the fallen protector giant and challenge an ancient celestial threat.
The developer promises a huge world, challenging dungeons with puzzles and new secrets in already completed locations. When creating Lucid, Manahan focused on Celeste and classics of the genre, including Mega Man X and Super Metroid.
