As we already know, the fantasy role-playing game “Atlas Fallen” will be released next year for the PlayStation 5, among others. As part of a current press release, the release period was roughly limited.
As part of the “Opening Night Live” event at Gamescom 2022, the creators of “Lords of the Fallen” and “The Surge” from Deck13 presented their latest project “Atlas Fallen”.
In terms of play, we are dealing with a fantasy role-playing game that has so far only been confirmed for a release in the coming year. In a recent press release, the responsible publisher Focus Entertainment limited the release period a little and announced that “Atlas Fallen” will be released in spring 2023 for the PC and the current consoles.
As Focus Entertainment explained, this gives Deck13 sufficient time for the final touches and the plan to “optimize the potential of the new brand”.
Uncover ancient secrets
According to the creative minds at Deck13, “Atlas Fallen” offers you a semi-open game world in which numerous ancient secrets and threats are waiting for you to be discovered. The story focuses on two heroes who use magical weapons made of sand to face a dark force and all kinds of enemies.
While the first trailer suggested Atlas Fallen would be another Soulslike adventure, Deck13 says that’s not the case. Instead, according to their own statements, the developers of the German studio were inspired by successful titles such as “God of War” or Guerrilla Games’ action role-playing game “Horizon”. We have summarized further details and official statements on this topic for you here.
Atlas Fallen is in development for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
