The head of the Top Rank promotional company, Bob Arum, is very doubtful that Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) will enter the ring this year against WBC world champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs).
“I don’t believe that the fight between Fury and Joshua will take place. Look how casual Hearn’s approach is. If I promoted the guy after two losses in a row to Usyk, then I would arrange for Joshua to fight two less significant opponents before he fights at the highest level. Because the fight with Fury will be very tough for Joshua. He will be beaten even harder than Usyk did,” Arum said.
It was previously reported that Joshua accepted Fury’s generous offer.
