The network has new gameplay footage of the platformer in the open world Sonic Frontiers with a demonstration of the Big Cat mini-game.
In the upcoming project, players will be able to fish and trade their catch with Big Cat for tokens, which can then be spent on various items such as portal gear fragments, voice diaries, vault keys, or Amy’s collectible hearts.
Big the Cat first appeared in Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast in 1999. His appearance in Sonic Frontiers was previously confirmed by the developers, and in the Gamescom 2022 demo, fans got to see the character in the new game for the first time.
Sonic Frontiers releases on November 8 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.
