Metal: Hellsinger is a rhythm shooter where you have to shoot hellish evil spirits to the beat of the music. PC owners will be allowed to add tracks to their taste in the game – The Outisders studio has announced support for modding.
When exactly will support for custom music – is unknown. Hellsinger itself starts tomorrow, September 15th. In addition to computers, the list of platforms includes the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. On PC and Xbox, the action movie will immediately enter the Game Pass catalog.
Recall that eminent artists took part in the recording of songs for Hellsinger:
Serj Tankian from System of a Down.
James Dorton of the Black Crown Initiate
Tatyana Shmaylyuk from Jinjer,
Matt Heafy of Trivium
Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquility,
Björn Strid from Soilwork,
Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy.
Our reviewer Alexei Likhachev has already tested the novelty and was satisfied:
The authors of Metal: Hellsinger seemed to spit on the claims of those who accuse them of copying ideas. They wanted to make a rhythm shooter in the spirit of DOOM – they did it. It turned out great: the “trick” with shooting to the beat of the music works, and the soundtrack consists entirely of beautiful hard rock, which you will want to listen to separately from the game.
