GKD (Game Kiddy) Mini Plus handheld console with retro design has been released in China, Gizmochina reports. The device almost completely repeats the design of the original GKD mini, differing from the previous version in improved characteristics. There is also a version with built-in sticks. Handheld console capabilities allow you to run, for example, the classic Game Boy and Game Boy Advance.
IPS display 3.5″, resolution 640 x 480 pixels; Rockchip RK3566 processor with four ARM Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz; Mali-G52 GPU; 1 GB RAM, microSD slot; 3000 mAh battery, USB-C charging; Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support; 3.5 mm headphone port.
In total, two versions of portable consoles have been released: GKD Mini Plus Classic and GKD Mini Plus (with built-in sticks and two microSD slots). There is also a separate removable block with sticks that connects to the GKD Mini Plus Classic via USB-C.
The GKD Mini Plus is sold in China for ¥469 (a little over ₽4,000). There is no pricing information for the GKD Mini Plus Classic yet. It is also unknown if the Mini Plus will be sold outside of China.
