On September 16, the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty demo was released on current generation consoles. A blogger under the nickname ElAnalistaDeBits got acquainted with three assemblies and talked about the differences. It is important to note that by the time the full game is released, the optimization will be improved and the graphics will change.
There are two modes available on PS5:
Resolution: 1440p at floating 60fps Performance: Dynamic 1440p (average 1332p) with more or less stable 60fps
Xbox Series X, also two modes:
Resolution: 1440p at floating 60fps Performance: Dynamic 1440p (average 1296p) with more or less stable 60fps.
Xbox Series S Single Mode:
The blogger notes that the clarity of the picture is highest on the PS5, and the version for the Xbox Series S turned out to be the most stable due to numerous graphical omissions.
All versions use temporal reconstruction rendering. The Xbox Series S received low-quality lighting, shadows, textures, some post-processing effects, and reduced draw distance. Downloads are fastest on PS5, longest on Xbox Series X.
ElAnalistaDeBits recommends playing PS5 and Xbox Series X in performance mode. I would also like to inform you that the demo does not support HDR, which will appear only in the full version of the game.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2023. The game will be included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription at release.
