Amazon has announced the end of filming for The Boys spin-off series, Gen V. On the occasion of the end of the filming process, the show’s official social media accounts posted photos with the actors.
The series is about a college for super students run by Vought International Corporation. The concept of the show will in many ways be a parody of the X-Men franchise.
The showrunners of the spin-off are Michelle Fazekas and Tara Butters (“Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, “Agent Carter”). Together with them, the main show’s showrunner Eric Kripke is involved in the project, as well as Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and comic book writer Garth Ennis.
The cast of The Boys spin-off includes Jazz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizz Broadway (Bones), Shelley Conn (The Bridgertons), Maddy Phillips (The Young Bounty Hunters) , London Thor (“Shameless”), Derek Luh (“Shining Valley”), Patrick Schwarzenegger (“The Ladder”) and others.
The creators of the spin-off “The Boys” have not yet disclosed the timing of the premiere.
